Ratings show that Rush Limbaugh rules the roost in New York City, Los Angeles and Chicago, where he ranks number one among radio talk shows (via International Entertainment News). Here’s how Rush ranks among all AM/FM radio programs, talk format or otherwise, in New York City and Los Angeles…
Talk Host Rank (ages 12+) Rank (ages 25-54)
Rush Limbaugh ———- 5 ———- 17
Bill O’Reilly —————20 ———- 23
Al Franken —————-23 ———- 20Talk Host Rank (ages 12+) Rank (ages 25-54)
Rush Limbaugh ———-5 ———- 14
Bill O’Reilly —————14 ———–29
Al Franken —————-27 ———–31
Maybe this means that leftists and Democrats don’t bother patronizing talk radio, since they already have ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, The New York Times and The Washington Post to tell them what they want to hear.
Then again, maybe it means we need to revisit the polling and vote-counting methodology used in some of our “blue” cities.
Something about this just doesn’t add up.
