LEFTIST JUDGE ORDERS DeLAY ARRESTED: Judge Donated to MoveOn.org, John Kerry and Democratic National Committee

A Texas judge today issued an arrest warrant for Congressman Tom DeLay, who has been indicted for state campaign finance violations, reports the Associated Press. The law does not demand that former House Majority Leader DeLay undergo the booking process, which includes being fingerprinted and mugshot. However, state District Judge Bob Perkins, who issued the warrant, appears determined to put DeLay through the process. Not surprisingly, Judge Perkins has a political ax to grind. He is a leftwing activist who contributed $1,775 to MoveOn.org, John Kerry and the Democratic National Committee in 2004.
Judge Perkins conspicuously chose September 11, 2004 – the third anniversary of the 9/11 attack – to make his $200 donation to MoveOn.org.
A Florida-based Freeper calling himself “Recovering Democrat” discovered Judge Perkins’ conflict of interest by running a search at OpenSecrets.org, whereupon he posted his findings to FreeRepublic.com on Monday. (hat tip, FreeRepublic)
For some reason, DeLay’s Democratic counterpart, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, has not been arrested for doling out more than $100,000 in illegal campaign contributions to Democrat candidates in 2002. (via Roll Call).

Due to the fact that they have indicted Mr. DeLay with a Money Laundering charge, a felony in the State of Texas. The arrest warrant is perfectly legal. Any charge from a Texas District court is a felony.
While it is obviously a politically motivated charge by a left wing hack (Mr.Earle), Mr. Delay is subject to arrest by any Texas Peace Officer under the law in the State of Texas.
If Mr. DeLay doesn’t turn himself in, the Sheriff of Travis County will be forced to enter the warrant in to NCIC (National Crime Information Center) and Mr. DeLay may be arrested by any law enforcement officer in the United States.
Irregardless of Bob Perkins’ political affilation as a Judge he has immunity from any indictment. The only way to effectivly attack him would be to accuse him of Judicial misconduct.
They have a saying in Austin, ” Keep Austin Weird”, and they are doing a good job of it.

Excellent! With that paragraph, Mr. Poe nails it better than any source I have read on this topic! The essence of this politically-motivated, out of control prosecutor is pure, unadulterated hypocrisy, and the ongoing attacks against Rep. Delay reveal the Democratic Party’s commitment to double-standards.
The left first tried getting DeLay on charges of illegal junkets and nepotism, etc., but the internet jumped in and it was shown that a whole bunch of democ-rats were way ahead of DeLay on the list. He was in about the middle of the pack. As I remember, democ-rat Harry Reid was the king of nepotism.
What does Poe really know?
He pounded out that 10-part WorldNetDaily series based on his 2004 WorldNetDaily-published book, “Hillary’s Secret War�? purporting to describe “how Hillary Clinton and the left’s ‘shadow government’ have labored to put her and her far-left agenda in the White House by controlling the still-uncensored flow of real news to Americans — via the Internet.”
Poe’s WND series, however, is filled with uncorroborated statements and long-discredited assertions. Additionally, he bashes liberal billionaire George Soros and lionizes and whitewashes conservative billionaire Richard Mellon Scaife — while hiding the fact that Scaife plays a role in providing him a steady paycheck.
Poe, you know, you are just a cheap, sheep-herding hypocrite.
