The William Jefferson Clinton Foundation awarded its first two grants on February 3.(1) One went to ACORN, America’s largest radical group, which says it will use the money to help evacuees from Hurricane Katrina.
Specifically, it will help evacuees collect government benefits such as Earned Income Tax Credits (EITC). As for the amount of the grant, the Clinton Foundation’s press release skirts the issue, but ACORN founder and chief organizer Wade Rathke boasts on his blog that ACORN received $250,000.
