HILLARYGATE: New Media Scoops Old Media

Hilarygate is the New Media scoop par excellence. Mainstream news organizations shunned this story for seven years. Only in alternative New Media — and especially on the Internet — did Clinton campaign insider and whistleblower Peter Franklin Paul find an outlet for his grave allegations regarding Hillary’s corruption.
“With the exception of Paul Rodriguez, editor of Insight Magazine, no mainstream print journalist made any real effort to understand the allegations I have been levelling at Mrs. Clinton since 2001,” Mr. Paul told TheVanguard.org. He continued:
“Even the bloggers, for the most part, dismissed my story with the same superficial clichés that I encountered from the big media. TheVanguard.org is the only blog, so far, that has treated my allegations with appropriate seriousness.
“That said, a number of Web sites and citizen journalists on the Internet have been a great help, staying on this story year in and year out. Without those courageous few, the Clintons would have succeeded in hiding my story forever.
“Special thanks go to Doug from Upland, a fearless Freeper with incredible dedication, who has steadfastly kept my story alive through his posts at FreeRepublic.com. Art Moore and Joe Farah of WorldNetDaily.com have given me continual coverage; Frank Salvato, editor and founder of The Rant and editor of New Media Journal, went so far as to commission a seven-part series called The Fraudulent Senator, written by four independent Internet journalists, who corroborated and explained all of my allegations. Chris Ruddy and Carl Limbacher also made a valiant effort to expose the truth about Hillary through NewsMax.com.
“Without the Internet, a story like mine could never break through the gatekeepers of mainstream media, and the American people could never learn the full story of the corruption and misconduct of elected officials such as Hillary.”
