Well, it was short and sweet. My tenure as editorial director of TheVanguard.org (TVO) came to an end last night, having lasted only three months, from February 1 to April 30, 2007.
Following a candid discussion with TVO Founder and Chairman Rod Martin last night, we agreed to end our association, due to our differing and strongly-held views concerning organizational priorities and strategy. Honorable men can agree to disagree, and so Rod Martin and I have done.
Best Wishes to All
I wish to TheVanguard.org every success, and likewise to all the good people affiliated with it.
We are fighting on the same side, in the same war, against the same foe, and for the same goals. It seems, however, that we will be fighting on different fronts, and perhaps that is for the best.
To Rod and Sherri Martin, and their wonderful family, I wish every blessing and happiness.
Oh, and congratulations to Rod for his April 22 ascension to the presidency of the National Federation of Republican Assemblies (NFRA).
Richard, you have contributed far more to the conservative movement than most people will ever understand. I am proud to call you my friend.
Rod D. Martin
Founder and Chairman
TheVanguard.Org
Thank you, Rod. That is most kind of you.
