ST. JUDE is the patron saint of lost or desperate causes. You pray to St. Jude when you have nowhere else to turn. You pray to him when you are trying to do the impossible. You pray to him when all the odds are against you. That’s where I am now. That’s why I’m praying to St. Jude.
In the past, I never would have written an article like this. My pride would have prevented me. In the past, I would have prayed first, then decided what to write later. I would have waited for the results of my prayers. If the results pleased me, then yes, I might have written something about them. But if the results displeased me, I would have kept silent.
In effect, I was bargaining with St. Jude. I was trying to make him a deal. “Answer my prayers, and I will give you free publicity,” I was telling the saint. “But, if you don’t answer my prayers, you’ll get nothing from me.”

It’s natural for people to bargain. But bargaining doesn’t work with St. Jude. He’s not a businessman, and he doesn’t need your business.
What St. Jude requires is loyalty, devotion and obedience, with heavy emphasis on the word obedience. St. Jude places a special requirement on his devotees. When you pray to him, you are supposed to publish the results. You are supposed to tell people what happened. You are supposed to tell them what the saint did for you. There are all sorts of ways to spread the word about St. Jude. You can do it the old-fashioned way, by word of mouth, or you can post messages on the Internet. But, one way or the other, you must spread the word. In so doing, you inspire others to pray to St. Jude. At least that’s the theory.
If I have learned one lesson, after nine years of praying to St. Jude, it is this: You cannot bargain with this saint. You cannot sit in judgment over him. It is not our place to judge whether St. Jude has answered our prayers to our satisfaction. When we pray to St. Jude, we must publish the results, whether we like them or not.

With this article, I am going one step further. I am announcing my novena to St. Jude in advance, before I have even finished it. This is the fifth day of my novena. There are four days to go. I have no idea how St. Jude will answer my prayers. I have no way of knowing if he will answer them at all. I do not know if my life will be better or worse when this novena is done. I do not know if my path will be clear or whether it will remain hidden from me. But whatever happens, I will announce the results on this blog.
I am praying for a nine-day miracle. I am praying for a turnaround in my fortunes. I am praying that my little publishing company Heraklid Inc. will succeed, and that I will earn enough money from my books to get back on my feet. And I am praying that St. Jude will make crystal clear, by the ninth day of this novena, whether or not he has chosen to grant my petition.
Whatever happens on the ninth day, I will announce it on this blog, even if it seems like bad news. I will trust that St. Jude has his own good reasons for doing what he does, even when I don’t understand his reasons. And I hope and pray that, whatever happens to me and my wife, and to our struggling little company, be it good or ill, that our story may serve to instruct and help others.

My Nine-Year Journey with St. Jude
Thank you, St. Jude for answering my Reno, Nevada prayers.
I prayed and my prayer was answered in 3 days.
I encourage everyone to uphold their personal
boundaries, always be kind when possible, pray for themselves, pray for good things to happen for other people and pray for more goodness in the world.
I finished my novena yesterday, and am so incredibly thankful to St. Jude for answering my prayers. I know in my heart that he will he intercede on my behalf. Thank you St Jude, I feel so incredibly blessed. You and the Lord deserve all my thanks and gratitude for blessing me and my family.
Pray to St. Jude and he will answer and has always done so. He will not fail you
I have been praying to St. Jude my entire life. I now pray the novena for my marriage. I desperately want my marriage to work and am asking for his intercession in my time of great need. Please give my husband the insight to want to work on our marriage, to try to save it instead of walking away from us.

I have prayed to St. Jude for 9 days. I am still praying to him to help with my marriage and that it can be restored. I pray that the Holy Spirit will touch my wife’s heart and fill it full of love for me and for the Lord. I pray that he will continue to intercede for me to the Lord to answer my prayers. I have prayed to St. Jude my entire life as did my mother and her mother before her. I have been praying for months for a specific thing. My prayers haven’t been answered yet, but I am hoping they will be soon. Have faith in St. Jude.
I actually did not know about the special request of St.Jude not until today. I would have done this years back. I will start by saying I am grateful to St.Jude for every time I come to him, all I ask I receive. He has done for me many but those I can remember this particular time are
– first were my final exams of high school. I had missed a lot of classes due to financial matters and I did not feel ready but when I knelt down for nine days praying to St Jude, oh my goodness were results were shocking.
Same thing while graduating from university and still he made that possible.
– another time I had applied for two jobs and different companies so I came back to him and prayed requesting him to make for me the best choice and yes he did.

Completed my Novena yesterday. Doesn’t seem like results will be forthcoming. A job is still needed. I will not quit, I will be trying again.

Another round of novenas, but no answer. I will not give up. I will begin another round today. I know if I persist, St Jude will answer my prayers.
I am praying to St Jude in advance of my sons exams. He needs to pass. They have not been taken yet. But I ask St Jude to inspire him and help him pass. First off, I am a true believer in the power of prayer. My mom had great faith and prayed all the time. God has blessed me abundantly and I am so grateful. At first I felt guilty to even ask for anything more. But when I was cleaning out my desk drawer, I found the novena to St. Jude along with a handwritten note from my mom reminding me of the importance of this prayer and suggesting that I share it with my children. (Mom passed 10 years ago at the age of 95.)
Well, I was anxious about my son. He has been extremely unhappy with his job for quite some time and also very lonely and homesick. He wants to be closer to his parents, brother and friends that he grew up with. In August of 2019 he started sending out resumes, but wasn’t having much luck. Once Covid-19 hit, it seemed like the chances of procuring a new job would be slim to none. I started the 9 day novena on June 29th (the day I found the letter from my mom). My son was having a second interview with a good company the next day. The interview went well and 4 days later he received a call saying an offer was going to be sent to him the following week. I continued with the novena 9 times a day for the full 9 days. Though he has not officially received the offer (it’s only been a few days), he now is scheduled to have a second interview with a different company later in the week. His confidence is up and he will possibly have a choice between two jobs. More than I could have asked for. Thank you St. Jude.

This is my first time praying to St. Jude, I am hopeful and standing in faith that my relationship with the father of my daughter will be restored. I am praying that we reconcile and for the lord to soften his heart, I am praying to St. Jude to restore the little family my daughter deserves and to bring her daddy home to us. I know whatever the outcome of my prayers to walk in faith for the Lords plan is better than our own.
St. Jude answered all my past prayers. Now on the 7th day. He answered on the 3rd day and i shifted my petition to something else which i am right now anxiously waiting for his answer. I know He grants as he always did.
I came to know about the st Jude novena recently.A best friend of mine is leading a very miserable life.He lost his father the last week.He is in the amidst of a lot of struggles and confusions.He is complaining that his life has never been peaceful and happy because of the fights between his parents and other matters and now that he has lost his father a lot of people around him are actually questioning him of his fathers death.He loved his father except for the fact that his father was alcoholic and it was the main factor affecting their life.He is depressed and is down .I have never seen him like this before.Holy st Jude help him.
While I have not gotten any answers to my prayers that I can see, I am in hopes that St Jude is working behind the scenes to help me achieve my goals. I will not give up.

I am in the 9th day of a St Jude novena. I have been praying to St Jude to repair a relationship with a female friend who I have very strong feelings for. While there has been no communication, the lines to communication opened up again last night. I thank St. Jude and the Lord for giving me this small hope. Praying for lissete to come back no answer yet but I believe in saint jude
I have prayed to St. Jude on multiple occasions mostly having to deal with difficulties faced with friends/ bullying, all affecting my anxiety disorder and mental health. St. Jude has allowed me to be strong in times I thought I would collapse, offered me new opportunities, allowed closure for old relationships, given me peace in times of struggle, allowed difficulties to be resolved, and has kept me in a safe space and proper path. I am forever thankful for St. Jude’s blessings and honour the love shown to me.
This is my second round of Novena to St. Jude. I am on the 4th days of Novena and have 5 more to go. I have no idea how St. Jude will answer my prayers or not. I am asking for a breakthrough for my sister and myself. We are both going through finances difficulties in our life right now. We both can’t find a peaceful night of sleep.
