ST. JUDE is the patron saint of lost or desperate causes. You pray to St. Jude when you have nowhere else to turn. You pray to him when you are trying to do the impossible. You pray to him when all the odds are against you. That’s where I am now. That’s why I’m praying to St. Jude.
In the past, I never would have written an article like this. My pride would have prevented me. In the past, I would have prayed first, then decided what to write later. I would have waited for the results of my prayers. If the results pleased me, then yes, I might have written something about them. But if the results displeased me, I would have kept silent.
In effect, I was bargaining with St. Jude. I was trying to make him a deal. “Answer my prayers, and I will give you free publicity,” I was telling the saint. “But, if you don’t answer my prayers, you’ll get nothing from me.”

St. Jude places a special requirement on his devotees. When you pray to him, you are supposed to publish the results. You are supposed to tell people what happened. |

It’s natural for people to bargain. But bargaining doesn’t work with St. Jude. He’s not a businessman, and he doesn’t need your business.
What St. Jude requires is loyalty, devotion and obedience, with heavy emphasis on the word obedience. St. Jude places a special requirement on his devotees. When you pray to him, you are supposed to publish the results. You are supposed to tell people what happened. You are supposed to tell them what the saint did for you. There are all sorts of ways to spread the word about St. Jude. You can do it the old-fashioned way, by word of mouth, or you can post messages on the Internet. But, one way or the other, you must spread the word. In so doing, you inspire others to pray to St. Jude. At least that’s the theory.
If I have learned one lesson, after nine years of praying to St. Jude, it is this: You cannot bargain with this saint. You cannot sit in judgment over him. It is not our place to judge whether St. Jude has answered our prayers to our satisfaction. When we pray to St. Jude, we must publish the results, whether we like them or not.

With this article, I am going one step further. I am announcing my novena to St. Jude in advance, before I have even finished it. This is the fifth day of my novena. There are four days to go. I have no idea how St. Jude will answer my prayers. I have no way of knowing if he will answer them at all. I do not know if my life will be better or worse when this novena is done. I do not know if my path will be clear or whether it will remain hidden from me. But whatever happens, I will announce the results on this blog.
I am praying for a nine-day miracle. I am praying for a turnaround in my fortunes. I am praying that my little publishing company Heraklid Inc. will succeed, and that I will earn enough money from my books to get back on my feet. And I am praying that St. Jude will make crystal clear, by the ninth day of this novena, whether or not he has chosen to grant my petition.
Whatever happens on the ninth day, I will announce it on this blog, even if it seems like bad news. I will trust that St. Jude has his own good reasons for doing what he does, even when I don’t understand his reasons. And I hope and pray that, whatever happens to me and my wife, and to our struggling little company, be it good or ill, that our story may serve to instruct and help others.

Today is the 9th day of St Jude Novena. Praying for a miracle in my life.
I give the greatest thanks to the kindness of the miracles of St Jude. I prayed for a miracle in the deepest time of despair when I had lost all I knew and St Jude heard my prayer and has answered every part of my Prayer. I am ever grateful and thankful to you St Jude for helping me in my darkest time and providing a miracle.

I am praying that the lady I love and cherish will return to me, and that I may marry her and become the husband that will please God. Thank you mighty St Jude for answering my prayers. I was without hope, bleak and said your prayer for 9 days. On the 9th day I got an answer. You answered my prayers, although my problems are not completely resolved just yet, I know you will guide me and protect me. I will continue to say your prayers, it is your will.
I am praying a never ending sequence to St. Jude until he answers my prayers. I have found in the past that this is the best format and has had good results for me in the past. This is my opinion, St. Jude will never assist you in attaining your request if it is not good for you in the long run. St. Jude is a conduit to God. St. Jude receives your requests and prayers and submits them to God, Who makes the Final Decision. I have always felt that there are many of us who have problems contacting God one-on One, so we utilize Saints as our Liaisons; St. Jude is one of those Liaisons. Just be diligent and continue with your prayers and intentions and you will receive an answer. It may not be what you have expected, but you will receive an answer, and of course, make known St. Jude’s works, after all, when we find something good, don’t we normally want to share that with others? It only makes sense.

I’m on my fifth day of prayer to Saint Jude to help me matters that are not within my control. I know Saint Jude will answer my prayers. I’m already becoming with peace with my situation and he will lead me on the correct path. I will publish the results upon my completion.

I finished my ninth day of prayer yesterday. I’m hopefully that Saint Jude and God will answer my prayers. I’m thankful for Saint Jude and God for being there to listen to me and helping me out through my situation. I have faith that they will determine the correct path. Thank for all blessings you have bestowed upon me in my life. I will continue to pray for my request. In hopes of restoring what I have lost.
I am currently praying a 9-day novena to St Jude for a very desperate situation involving an evil and wicked neighbor, who, in collaboration with the landlord, is trying to kill her through stress. I pray that these schemes may finally come in the open and that we will prove that the neighbor is breaking inside our home when she is missing.
I promise to St. Jude to pray 25 decades of the Rosary in his honor as thanksgiving and to publish the results of this novena in order to spread the devotion, and to immediately confess all my sins, venial and mortal.
Neither me nor my mother can merit grace, but we so desperately need Heaven’s help in this situation.

Thank you St. Jude for answering my novena after I had prayed it only one day and then forgot to continue for the additional 8 days My request that I receive the settlement I wanted was answered after only one asking (instead of praying it for nine days). I struggled with whether I should publish anyway–until I found this website. Thank you Mr. Poe for the answer to my doubt and for giving me a chance to thank Saint Jude. I am so grateful. i am on my 9th day of novena to st jude, im still believing our marriage will be restored and husband moved back home, he had drinking priblem and doin better, i still hold out Hope for Us.

I never believed what St. Jude could do until I had a first-hand experience. My marriage was going downhill and every where I turned there was no hope and I had almost reached a dead-end. It was then I turned to the Saint of Desperate Cases – St. Jude. Trust me, I said the 9-day novena and I guess, it was the 10th day when a miracle happened and everything was reversed. Though we are still finding our foot hold in the marriage and taking steps to reconcile and be together, it has been positive and St. Jude made that happen!

Thank you St. jude for interceding for me; not only comfort but my heart’s desire. I have been struggling for 2 years finding out what I should become and I have been applying for my dream job. Many struggles have been making me depressed lately. I prayed to St.Jude to help me for 9 consecutive days and received an answer after a week. Ive been praying to Saint Jude and I ask him for alot. I am in the arts and so far, he has granted me with stable work and surprised me with a big pay day from a project I did a little while back. Still waiting on alot of prayers to be answered but he is awesome. I will continue to pray to him.
I trust in the powerful intercession of st Jude Thaddeus and will always honour him as my special and powerful patron as the prayer says. My life has been a testimony as I have been saying the novenas for over 20 years. I am in day 4 of another novena and I am trusting God to keep me in employment. In early 2013, I was in desperate need of a new job because I was undergoing tremendous pressure and persecution at the job I had at the time. I often prayed for circumstances to improve but to no avail. I changed my petitions to obtaining a new job instead and I prayed to St. Jude incessantly for it. Within about a month, I accepted a new job offer. Thank you St. Jude for answering my prayers.

I’ve known St. Jude for 3 years now, and everytime I asked for his intercession he never fails me. I recently had a panic attack and I almost felt like my panic attacks robbed me from going out and enjoying my life. I turned to St. Jude for help while I was also helping myself overcome Panic attacks (I used the AWARE technique). On the 4th day I have already received an answered prayer, I was calm and at peace and every time I feel like im about to get attacks I recite st. Jude’s novena prayer. God indeed helps those who help themselves. I urge you to pray and ask for the intercession of the Mama Mary and all the saints in heaven! Do not lose faith my friends 🙂
