ST. JUDE is the patron saint of lost or desperate causes. You pray to St. Jude when you have nowhere else to turn. You pray to him when you are trying to do the impossible. You pray to him when all the odds are against you. That’s where I am now. That’s why I’m praying to St. Jude.
In the past, I never would have written an article like this. My pride would have prevented me. In the past, I would have prayed first, then decided what to write later. I would have waited for the results of my prayers. If the results pleased me, then yes, I might have written something about them. But if the results displeased me, I would have kept silent.
In effect, I was bargaining with St. Jude. I was trying to make him a deal. “Answer my prayers, and I will give you free publicity,” I was telling the saint. “But, if you don’t answer my prayers, you’ll get nothing from me.”

St. Jude places a special requirement on his devotees. When you pray to him, you are supposed to publish the results. You are supposed to tell people what happened. |

It’s natural for people to bargain. But bargaining doesn’t work with St. Jude. He’s not a businessman, and he doesn’t need your business.
What St. Jude requires is loyalty, devotion and obedience, with heavy emphasis on the word obedience. St. Jude places a special requirement on his devotees. When you pray to him, you are supposed to publish the results. You are supposed to tell people what happened. You are supposed to tell them what the saint did for you. There are all sorts of ways to spread the word about St. Jude. You can do it the old-fashioned way, by word of mouth, or you can post messages on the Internet. But, one way or the other, you must spread the word. In so doing, you inspire others to pray to St. Jude. At least that’s the theory.
If I have learned one lesson, after nine years of praying to St. Jude, it is this: You cannot bargain with this saint. You cannot sit in judgment over him. It is not our place to judge whether St. Jude has answered our prayers to our satisfaction. When we pray to St. Jude, we must publish the results, whether we like them or not.

With this article, I am going one step further. I am announcing my novena to St. Jude in advance, before I have even finished it. This is the fifth day of my novena. There are four days to go. I have no idea how St. Jude will answer my prayers. I have no way of knowing if he will answer them at all. I do not know if my life will be better or worse when this novena is done. I do not know if my path will be clear or whether it will remain hidden from me. But whatever happens, I will announce the results on this blog.
I am praying for a nine-day miracle. I am praying for a turnaround in my fortunes. I am praying that my little publishing company Heraklid Inc. will succeed, and that I will earn enough money from my books to get back on my feet. And I am praying that St. Jude will make crystal clear, by the ninth day of this novena, whether or not he has chosen to grant my petition.
Whatever happens on the ninth day, I will announce it on this blog, even if it seems like bad news. I will trust that St. Jude has his own good reasons for doing what he does, even when I don’t understand his reasons. And I hope and pray that, whatever happens to me and my wife, and to our struggling little company, be it good or ill, that our story may serve to instruct and help others.

My Nine-Year Journey with St. Jude
I am praying to St. Jude for a reconciliation with the love of my life, Cynthia Cruz. I am praying a novena daily for this to St. Jude. Please hear my prayer.
Thank you St Jude for helping my daughter get an interview for a new teaching position. I will be praying to you again for her the get the job if she wants it.
St Jude has helped me in the past and I am currently going thru a family situation and I am heart broken, I will continue to pray to St Jude and know the he hears my prayers
I am on my 8 day of my novena and I have recieved so much peace on this journey with St. Jude. I am confident my prayers will be answered.
I pray to St Jude for help in my relationship and to heal our hearts. That we may overcome this difficult time and continue in our relationship and carry out God’s will for us.
Two of my prayers St Jude were answered right away (one within 30 min and the other in the night) and I’m so happy and thankful for that, because it began to tear mom and myself apart from the inside. There are two more prayers which are of most importance to us and I hope from the bottom of my heart they will be granted as well because it’s impossible for us to do and nobody is willing to help us.
I am starting my Novena to St.Jude tomorrow and have also encouraged my family to join me.I have prayed the Novena several times and it has worked .
I am in an extremel’y bad situation i have an addiction that lead me to losses .I broke up with mu boyfriend which was a bad mistake i also lost my job and could face jail time but i trust in saint June to do a 360 degree turn i know that things will turn out well .I keep on getting suicidal thoughts but i believe that God will see me through.
I shall update here on the positive results and i remain forever grateful.
St Jude you have blessed me so much in the past and I am forever grateful. I have full faith you will bless me one more time with a chance with my baby’s father izzy. That he open his heart and that he may grant me one more chance. That for not only me but for our children as well that izzy return home to us and keep our family together. I am on day 2 for St Jude to pray that the love of my life comes back so that we can live our life in Christ together.

I started praying to Saint Jude towards end of May 2017. I was very miserable in my job as I worked so hard , but management didn’t appreciate my 4 years of hardwork and high standards in my work.
I got two offers within the 5th day of my prayers and novena to Saint Jude!
Now i am wondering which one I have to choose

my experience seems unbelievable to me even now. I am not a Christian and grew up in a home removed from religion essentially. About 2 months back my boyfriend of many years broke up with me over a fight, he is a very loving person therefore I tried so hard to get him back. But for 2 months he ignored me or was extremely rude and hurtful. Finally I went to Velankanni a church dedicated to mother Mary and pleaded for assistance, while there a friend of mine mentioned St. Jude as a patron of hopeless cases, she knew nothing about my predicament and happened to mention it quite casually in another context. I forgot about it then. when I got back home I was still in a lot of pain and that’s when I remembered my friends words. I looked up St. Jude online and saw thousands of testimonials and decided to start my Novena. I prayed and my thoughts swayed from hope to doubts to sheer desperation. I prayed the rosary every night and did the novena. On the ninth day I texted my boyfriend and he replied and we spoke for an hour and a half. I began the novena again the next day and the third day he messaged me asking if we could meet. I was shocked and utterly astounded. on the sixth day of the novena we met and we got back into a relationship. I am so grateful and I will be for the rest of my life. for those of you out there facing difficulties don’t give up, have faith, for through god everything is possible.

Thank you for helping me with a guy that I had began dating but he kept disappearing or other negative things started occurring. I prayed to St Jude and he started expressing having feelings for me. We are now on opposite ends of the planet but I feel St Jude is there helping me with this. If it is meant to be St Jude will help continue this relationship and it will grow into a lot, lot more. If I get married to him the wedding will be on the day of his feast: 28th October. Amen

I have been praying continously to St. Jude for reconciliation with the person I love. I have almost got him 25% and hoping that he returns to me for ever with lots of love and affection towards me. St. Jude… I really have lots of faith and trust in you. Please give me as your gift for this life. I promise i shall make your name known and your novenas is forwarded to everyone in need.
St Jude performs miracles. I prayed to him 2 years ago and on the 5th day my prayers were answered. Now I am asking for a miracle again. This problem is so big. I am heartbroken, without any hope at all. St Jude is only one that can help me. I trust in him completely and I know he will not forsake me. Amen
I’ve done a lot of praying to St Jude, and have offered many prayers of thanks to him, keeping it personal, but I have only published twice, I believe. I now realize I’ve been remiss. This “thank you” is being published before the prayer has been answered, because I’m going through a long process. It’s a tough one to answer, I’m guessing, but St Jude is the patron of desperate and impossible cases, and I have faith in him because he has done so much for me in the past. This time I have prostate cancer which has spread to the hip bones, the spine and the rib cage. I’m on three different therapies, including things like chemotherapy and radiation. My prayer is that my treatments will be successful. I know my situation is currently not curable, but they tell me that often it can be controlled for quite a while. My prayer is that they can control it long enough for the next breakthrough treatment, and then the one after that, etc. Maybe there will actually be a cure someday. I have prayed a novena to St. Jude many times before and never known it to fail. I am facing a very worrisome conflict at this time and do not know which way to turn as every option seems as though it will cause harm. I have not received a direct answer to my prayers but I have faith in St. Jude and believe that strength and the answer will be revealed soon. Thank you St. Jude
I have started praying the Novena and I am now on day 7. I recently broke up with my girlfriend because of differing religions. I pray that she may be drawn deeper into the merciful and loving heart of Jesus. The path she is going is leading to darkness and I want to save her soul. I was faced with a difficult situation. I was supposed to attend a job interview but i was confused whether to take up the job or not. The management was very keen on hiring me but my guts told me something was wrong. So before going for the interview i prayed to st.jude for clarity in judgement and to reveal to me the politics in the hospital i was going to be posted to. I not only met with the manager who interviewed me… i also happened to meet the pharmacist, the receptionist, nurses and doctors.. through those conversations… the politics there was made clear and it eased my judgememt whther to take the job or not.

I prayed to St. Jude for my bills to be paid and favor with creditors. Every prayer was answered. He hasn’t failed.

I have prayed to St. Jude and he has answered me immediately (minutes/hours) As I would get a call from someone who is very important to me, 10 YEARS later. Now I pray to St. Jude that the barriers that are between him and I are removed. My prayers to be reunited with him were answered, but within days, we were no longer on the same path. Please St. Jude remove these barriers between us and put us Bach on the same path.
I am praying to St Jude that my girlfriend and love of my life recognize that she is in denial over a two month long bipolar manic episode which is destroying our relationship, my life and my future. She has lied, misled , and manipulated her family, my family, and others to create the image of me as a monster. None of what she has said and done about me is true, which she admits to me even as she continues to do it. Please help. I have nowhere left to turn.

i was impressed by this comment. coz i was shocked at the peace the moment i began my novena to St Jude. i was so stressed by the money lenders but immediately i began the novena all the stress disappeared.
a year ago i had the same problem. i had loans of up to us $1m and i began a novena to St Jude. on the 4th day of the novena i got the money. unfortunately i took the one tenth tithe to a pentecostal church (u know how convincing they are) ! i never published my miracle, never completed my novena and forgot all about St Jude !
the problems came back and they are worse ! it is when i remembered St Jude again. i joined the novena of St Jude this last one, which begins with Mass everyday then the novena prayer to St Jude. when i began the novena i got a peace of heart and mind. the stress left. even now tho the lenders are on my nerves with all the threats, am very peaceful ! no stress at all. i ended my novena today. am very confident a miracle is on its way. i ll publish it. i ve already began hearing some good news.
I’m praying to St Jude to keep the love of my life with me instead of moving away.
On the sixth day of my novena, a part of my wish came through. However I could not make use of it because I was so sad and angry at the time. You have to believe Saint Jude and prepare yourself accordingly to be ready when the time comes. You have to believe good things will happen to you and wait patiently with a positive mind.
On day two of novena. I️ will publish results after ninth day next week.
I am publishing my result as per St. Jude request. I prayed to St. Jude Novena for nine days concerning a very serious legal court matter that could sent me to prison for a long time. Got bad news worse than expected concerning court case at ninth day. My request was never answered and am publishing it to the World as St. Jude request for us to do. Amen

I’ve recently prayed novenas to st Jude on behalf of my daughter and her relationship with a guy. They were very distant when I began the first novena. By the completion of the second novena, they are speaking and becoming good friends again. I know St Jude is coming to my aid. I will continue to thank St Jude and pray novenas. I am hopeful things will work out for my daughter – that a romantic relationship will commence again. St Jude IS there, listening.
I finished my 9 day Novena to dear St. Jude. I know my prayers have been heard and he is working on my behalf. I have much faith that my prayer will be assisted and answered in one way or another. I would like to thank St.Jude for being there for me.

I prayed to St. Jude to intercede for me about employment. I lit the candle to start the vigil. First, it burned normally starting on Thursday, then the other day the flame was extremely low, then went out yesterday. I said a prayer, re-lit the candle. This morning, I noticed that the candle is burning brightly, but at the top of the glass, it has burned black. I’m a Christian and new to novena candles, but I’m I do not believe that is a good sign. I don’t know what else to do.
I prayed to St. Jude for my son. My son lost his job, needed to get out of his apartment and his funds were very low. My son got his job back after 3 months. He got out of his apartment and moved in with his girlfriend. His money situation is so much better. Thank you for answering my prayers St. Jude.
I am writing my response to say that I prayed a second consecutive nine day St Jude Novena. I am not here to judge St Jude as why my request was once again not answered . I am publishing the results as per St Jude Novena request. I will once again begin the nine day St Jude Novena and will patiently wait for my request concerning my desperate cause and imposible situation to be answered. Amen
I have said the novena and my petitions have not been answered. I failed my masters degree and it has left me depressed. I can’t afford to go to school again. I got an interview.. one in 7 months of applying for jobs.. and at the time I had started the novena. It turns out they already selected and it wasn’t me. My boyfriend also left me and as I pray for reconciliation he has continued to treat me poorly.
I guess the only good thing going for me in 2017 is that I have found my way back to God after two years of not reading his word or being consistent in church or prayer.

I just finished the ninth day of my novena to St Jude yesterday. Before I had time to say it, I received an e-mail which gave me the answer that i was seeking. I had petitioned the county’s jury coordinator for a postponement of jury duty because I don’t drive on snow any longer. It has been moved to late May. Thank you, St. Jude. I always know where to go when I am in a jam. And no, I don’t always get the answer I want, but I always know that the answer I get is right.
I have been praying to St Jude for my husband who has been out of work for 10 months. Prior to praying the St Jude he had virtually no favorable responses to jobs he was trying to get an interview for. However after saying the novena he started getting emails and phone calls from prospective employers! I was truly in shock at how rapidly St Jude came to his aid. He was able to secure a job in his field of work and is very happy. Thank you St Jude for standing by my family and helping my husband in his time of need.
I am on my 7th day of the Novena, and want to thank St Jude for his intercession for me on the purchase of some land that I want to build my forever dream home on. It seems as though there have been obstacles along the way, but I know in my heart my prayer will be answered, and St Jude is owed my gratitude and thanks, as well as God.

I am on day 3 of the novena to St. Jude for the healing of a ‘relationship’. I am not sure if it is God’s will for my life for a reunion with this person, but I already feel an overwhelming sense of peace and him telling me everything will be okay for me. Trust in God. Even if you experience more lows or ‘unanswered’ prayers, God will turn it around.
